China petroleum supply/demand review and outlook

Oil markets have long been accustomed to taking their supply-demand cues from North American indicators: US crude and products stocks, rigs counts, refinery operating rates and more. But with the USA now self-sufficient in oil and gas, analysts are beginning to realise that such indicators are of limited use in predicting the evolution of globalised oil prices.
