China’s February Lead Conc. Imports Post 7% MoM Fall; But Surge 44% YoY

SHANGHAI, Mar. 31(SMM) – Customs report that China imported 121,500 tonnes of lead concentrate in February, down 7.16% on the month, due to lead smelter maintenance operations and the Chinese New Year holiday. Import volumes, for their part, surged 44.27% year-on-year, primarily driven by higher margins.
