Large Chinese citrus company Dongfang vows to help Australian producers export to China as it lists on the Stock Exchange

Chinese citrus company Dongfang has used a launch on the Australian Stock Exchange this week to tell local growers it can help them reach a market of 1.3 billion people.

Dongfang, based in Guangzhou China, raised $39 million on listing this week, just months after Australian / American fruit giant, Costa, listed on the ASX, attracting significant Chinese investment.

In China, Dongfang has 8,600 hectares of tangerines, pomelos, camellias and oranges, producing 200,000 tonnes of fruit.
